I was thinking about growing up today and 1981 came to mind. I was in fifth grade and living in Memphis. I spent most of my time playing Putt-Putt golf, video games, solving Rubik’s Cube, listening to Queen and various other bands of the period, and spending hours trying to get past level 16 on Galaga.
I found that they have a version for the X-box now so I bought it. I also bought it for the Game Boy Advance. When I started playing the game my memories all came flooding back. The small things about how to play the game were second nature after all these years. I made it to level 12. It was my first time to play in probably 18 years. Anyone else enjoy playing Galaga?
